- Provides an analysis of cognitive, academic strengths and weaknesses to guide Individual Education Plans for students and to make recommendations for further investigation and for academic remediation and support for social and emotional issues that arise from learning difficulties.
- It is a complete confidential assessment of Intelligence, verbal comprehension, visual spatial processing, attention, and reading spelling mathematics, writing, reading comprehension, written output, grapho motor skills and executive function.
- Assessments include
- Intake interview with child and parent
- Review of developmental, school and medical history
- Observations of parents and teachers
- 4-5 hours of one to one testing
- Comprehensive report for parents, school, physician and others working with child
- Child friendly report for student
- Feedback meeting with child and family
- School liaison if requested by parent
